[Case Study] Bearing Manufacturing Industry

Introduction of a case where gas dispersion during cleaning was prevented, allowing for effective exhaust.

We would like to introduce a case of implementing local exhaust equipment in the bearing manufacturing industry. In the cleaning process of bearings using organic solvents, solvent gas was dispersing during the loading and unloading from the cleaning machine, worsening the environment. As a result of the implementation, we were able to prevent gas dispersion during cleaning and effectively exhaust the fumes. 【Case Overview】 ■ Installed Equipment: AH-H37-L213, hood fabrication, piping construction, preparation of local exhaust device notification documents ■ Background of Implementation ・Solvent gas was dispersing during loading and unloading from the cleaning machine, worsening the environment ■ Improvement Details ・Prevented gas dispersion during cleaning and enabled effective exhaust *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Draft chamber artificial tornado utilization exhaust hood type BT

A high-performance, laminar flow local exhaust device utilizing the principles of a tornado has been completed in Sweden.

Regarding the draft chamber and the BT-type exhaust hood utilizing artificial tornadoes, in the current laboratory setting, local exhaust devices such as draft chamber hoods are common. However, for the first time in the world, a high-performance, laminar flow local exhaust device, the BT series, has been completed in Sweden, applying the principles of tornadoes. Tornadoes occur over the sea or in vast plains, and they are phenomena where the suction power of the central core draws in surrounding air. This suction phenomenon is artificially generated within the hood, creating a device called the Tornado Hood, which ensures a uniform intake airflow speed (laminar flow exhaust) at the front opening of the hood. Because the intake at the front of the hood is laminar (with uniform speed), turbulence and vortices do not occur, ensuring the safety of the experimental operators. [Case Study] Improvement of Capabilities through Food Enhancement

Food suction efficiency increased by 25%! Here we introduce a case where efficient collection became possible due to the flange effect.

There were issues with the external hood's suction power being weak (insufficient airflow control), making it difficult to bring the hood closer to the dust generation point, which affected work and resulted in an inability to fully capture the generated dust. Therefore, we checked the state of the airflow from the hood and the wind speed at the dust generation point. We added a flange to the opening of the hood. As a result, we controlled the necessary airflow through improvements to the hood, enhancing its suction capability. Additionally, due to the flange effect, we were able to capture dust more efficiently, increasing the hood's suction efficiency by 25%. 【Case Study】 <Problems> ■ The dust generation point is too far away, and the external hood cannot fully capture the generated dust. ■ It is difficult to bring the hood closer to the dust generation point as it affects work. <Benefits> ■ The necessary airflow can be efficiently reduced. ■ Improvements are very easy to implement. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Improved Suction Efficiency with Flexible Hoods

Properly relocating the hood (intake) in response to changes in dust generation locations! A case that achieved labor saving and improved work efficiency.

There were issues such as "decreased suction efficiency due to changes in dust generation points and the need for improvements in the working environment." To address this, we adopted a swing arm (flexible hood) to eliminate suction problems. As a result, while a fixed hood necessitates an increase in processing airflow, with the swing arm's range of motion, there is no need for changes in capacity, allowing us to maintain suction efficiency and achieve labor-saving and improved work efficiency. 【Case Study】 <Problems> ■ With a fixed hood, dust at a distance from the hood cannot be collected effectively. <Benefits> ■ Within the range of motion of the swing arm, there is no need for changes in capacity, allowing for the maintenance of suction efficiency. ■ Labor-saving and improved work efficiency. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Case Study] Transforming an Existing Room into a Clean Room.

Transforming an existing room into a clean room.

Due to the increasing sophistication of market demands for products, we have received inquiries about wanting to perform cleaning and painting in a clean environment. Since cleaning and painting will be done using organic solvents, appropriate exhaust treatment is necessary. To keep the introduction costs down, it was essential to continue using the existing air conditioning equipment while managing the temperature. Issues: 1. The existing room is constructed with typical building materials (gypsum board), which do not consider dust generation. 2. If floating dust adheres to the products during cleaning and painting, it will reattach, making it impossible to meet high-quality standards. 3. A design is needed that prevents a decrease in cleanliness during entry and exit from the cleaned room and during the transportation of products. 4. Simply exhausting air will create negative pressure within the clean room, so it is necessary to supply clean air to maintain positive pressure overall. 5. We want to process the odors generated during cleaning and the paint fumes produced during the painting process with a single exhaust system.

Small Micro Dust Collector Paper/MD6DC-1006S-3

Small fine dust collection machine paper (pack filter/micro filter) AC200V three-phase Model number MD6DC-1006S-3

This is a compact dust collector that can capture fine dust particles down to 0.3 microns generated in various work processes in a clean environment. Unlike typical dust collectors, it uses a high vacuum type vacuum motor, allowing it to suction through narrow or longer piping with high pressure loss. With the adoption of a brushless motor, it can operate continuously for 8,000 hours. It uses a paper filter that allows for the removal of collected dust without getting your hands dirty. It employs a microfilter capable of capturing fine dust particles of 0.3 microns. The suction airflow can be adjusted continuously using a dial. Since it has a brushless motor, the exhaust does not contain carbon fine dust.

[Case Study on Environmental Improvement] Improvement of Dust Collection System through Food Changes

Using a local hood to collect dust closer to the source of dust generation! Here are some case studies.

We will introduce a case study regarding the improvement of the dust collection system due to changes in the hood. Initially, a canopy hood was installed above the equipment, prioritizing the operability of devices that generate dust. However, there were issues such as insufficient overall airflow and the fact that most of the dust generated was not being collected, as it was located far from the dust source. Therefore, we changed from the canopy hood to a local flexible hood, which improved the dust collection efficiency. 【Solution】 - Changed from the canopy hood to a local flexible hood to enhance dust collection efficiency. - Selected a dust collector suitable for the centralized dust collection of six target machines and installed centralized dust collection piping. - The exhaust from the dust collector is returned to the workroom through a HEPA filter. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Local exhaust ventilation system

Local exhaust systems suitable for preventing chemical exposure in cleaning or wiping operations.

The "local exhaust system" is a ventilation device that sucks in harmful substances such as dust and gas generated at the work site using a local exhaust hood, transports them through ducts, and exhausts them outside the factory with an exhaust fan. The harmfulness and exhaust concentration of the generated dust and gas are purified through an air purification device before discharging normal air outdoors. We handle dry painting exhaust systems with Teflon-coated impact plates, such as "painting booths" and "gravure printing solvent gas local exhaust systems." 【Painting Booth Features】 ■ Designed based on organic solvent poisoning prevention regulations for gases generated during painting work ■ Equipped with an impact plate to extend the filter clogging replacement interval ■ Filter cleaning and replacement timing can be checked with a clogging indicator manometer ■ The impact plate is detachable for easy cleaning ■ Uses a turbo fan *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
